Testimonials

"As a veteran public address announcer with nearly 30 years experience, I have learned that you are never too old to learn! The NASPAA online certification course is a perfect example of that old adage. The online course contained a wealth of information useful for young and old P.A. announcers and was invaluable to me as a refresher course. Anyone interested in working as a public address announcer at any level—high school, college, or professional—should welcome the chance to take the course and obtain their certification. The course helped to "plant" certain information in my brain which I call upon when going through certain situations at the ballpark. It emphasizes all the key areas of concerns. The one theme that the course pounded in my brain is that the job of a public address announcer is to provide the crowd with pertinent information during an athletic contest or event. There is never a downside to training someone to be more professional at their craft and the NASPAA online course does this and a whole lot more. I highly recommend that anyone desiring to become a public address announcer anywhere take the time and effort to use a great resource of the NASPAA—the online certification course. Whether you are an old goat or a young pup, you will learn a lot!"

"I have taken many professional certification courses in the past, but the NAASPA on-line certification course was by far one of the most practical and rewarding I have ever taken! As a high school sports announcer who aspires to go to the next level, the course provided me with some great fundamental applications that will prove to be very useful in the years to come. In fact, two days after completing the on-line course, I encountered a technology problem in the press box prior to the start of a football game and remembered what I learned from the "Sound and Audio" module from the online course. I was able to very quickly and "confidently" address the issue and get it resolved before any of the fans ever knew there was an issue!
