Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to Honor Rocco Geppi
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Maryland will be honoring Rocco Geppi at the b the cure! 35 under 35 Finest Event, on Thursday, December 11 at the Hippodrome Theatre in Baltimore. This is a special event that recognizes outstanding young professionals in Baltimore and surrounding communities. Rocco is employed at Comcast Cable as a Government and Public Relations Professional and is member of the National Association of Sports Public Address Announcers. He is one of 35 individuals to be honored. In accepting this distinction, Rocco has personally committed to help raise a minimum of $1500 for the Foundation and promote its mission of controlling and curing cystic fibrosis (CF).
CF is a devastating genetic disease that affects children and young adults. When the Foundation began in 1955, most children with CF did not live to see their first day of elementary school. Today, the median life expectancy for people with CF is almost 37. This is remarkable progress, but not good enough. To learn more about CF and the CF Foundation, visit www.cff.org.
