NFHS Scorebooks Are the Official Scorebooks of the NASPAA

Scorebooks help P.A. announcers gather and keep track of important information during events. Scorebooks produced by the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) are arguably the best, which is why they are the Official Scorebooks of the NASPAA.

NFHS scorebooks are available in 11 sports and have been designed specifically for use at the high school level. The scorebooks feature easy-to-follow scoring instructions and are designed, and have been designed in a simple, practical and functional manner. All scorebooks are designed so as to follow NFHS rules and are reviewed annually by the respective sports rules committee.

Scorebooks in all sports contain enough sheets for a normal regular-season schedule of games or meets and a full roster of competitors. After each game, important statistics can be entered into the “Season Log” section in the back of the scorebook, which allows users to access updated statistics when needed.

Each scorebook has a hard-back cover and spiral binding to reduce the wear and tear of a long season.

“The NFHS has produced scorebooks as a complement to rules publications for many years,” said Bob Gardner, NFHS executive director. “Since they are easy to use and are designed to reflect the play of the sport at the high school level, we encourage schools to purchase NFHS scorebooks when they are determining which scorebooks to purchase."
